What is cPanel?

cPanel is the Control Panel for your webhosting account where you can set-up new software on your website, manage email accounts and perform all other management functions. You are welcome to try the prepared Domain Owner demo from the cPanel website.

How to Login to cPanel?

You can login to cPanel by adding “cpanel” to your domain URL. For example if your domain URL is “http://mydomain.com“, your cPanel login will be at “”http://mydomain.com/cpanel“.

NB: Customers can login to cPanel before domain propagation via a secure connection at the applicable server. See the table below.

How to Login to WebMail?

You can login to WebMail by adding “webmail” to your domain URL. For example if your domain URL is “http://mydomain.com“, your WebMail login will be at “”http://mydomain.com/webmail“.

What to use for email client settings?

To download your email or to send email directly from your computer or other device, you will need email client software such as MS Outlook or other software. Please consult the instructions of your software to setup the email client to connect with your email server.

It is always advisable to use secure email settings to prevent the interception of emails you send and receive between your computer (or other device) and your online mailbox. For assistance with secure email settings, contact your company’s webmaster who has access to cPanel. The actual settings for secure email accounts is available from within cPanel.

For an insecure email connection, the following settings can be used:

Username: Use your email address
Password: Use your email account’s password
Incoming Server: mail.yourdomain.com*
POP3 Port: 110
Outgoing Server: mail.yourdomain.com*
SMTP Port: 25

Authentication is required for IMAP, POP3, and SMTP. If you don’t know how to setup an email client, you can always access your email via the web-mail interface. The web-mail interface is also handy if you are not at your computer and wish to access your emails via the internet.
